Amazonas Ultra-Light Hammocks epages Shop

The design concept developed by Amazonas was applied exactly to the epages shop. Viamodul was commissioned to customize the design elements.

OWL Slider for wiping on Start Page

On the start page, a slider based on Owl Carousel technology was installed with wiping feature. The slider is automatically created from a list of images and is also used on other content pages, even for products.

The product list on the homepage has been completely changed. The product name and short description appear above the dimmed image only when you pass the mouse over the image

The product list for hammock is sorted according to different model series. Here, too, product name and short description appear above the dimmed image when you pass the mouse over. Special: the variations are represented as pictures and transferred directly from the Sage Office line (Sage integration by BM-AG http://bmag.org/).

A product detail page quite different

On the product page the color variations are displayed as tiles this the original color or picture of the pattern..

Again, an OWL slider allows you to move from picture to picture by wiping. The navigation controls for the slider allow to insert more images / thumbnails than can be shown. There is also the possibility to show a video instead of an image.

Technical data, construction instructions, user maintenance / blog contributions and user images are grouped via the attributes and listed in table format.

An epages blog can be beautiful like this. Also on the blog post pages you can wipe through large pictures.

Pages with multiple paragraphs more interesting with a sliders

On some pages, e.g. "About us", the content was made more interesting with a slider for each paragraph. The user finds all the information on one page, which means that no "interruption" is caused by moving to other pages, and many images can still be viewed in each paragraph.

Users can send their images on the standard contact form

Anyone who wants to integrate his community into his website, must also be able to receive information from users, text and images. To do so, a function has been added to the standard contact epages form, which makes it possible for the users to send their images using the form.

The mobile version "feels like" the desktop version

The user also has the “look and feel” of the desktop version on this smartphone. Even the slider with the Owl Carousel was applied on the product page, replacing the epages standard picture gallery.
