Why is it important to show the graduated prices already on the product list?

Price reductions (quantity discounts) are important information for customers that can lead to a purchase decision and bring more sales for the merchant.

With epages 6, the quantity discounts are only displayed on the product detail page.

However, if the prices with quantity discounts are already displayed on the product list, a price comparison with competitors can be advantageous, because the customer has taken knowledge of the quantity discounts without going to the product page, which he would probably not have done otherwise.

Quantity discounts are only displayed on the product list when the mouse is moved over a product, so that the page remains clean and tidy.

Also on epages 6 shops, selected products, only be visible for specific customer groups, can be displayed on "public" categories.

Different Customer Groups - Differente Product Range

On shops that support several business models, e.g. B2C, B2B or B2E, often not all products are available for all customer groups. Some products are only available for corporate customers, others only for employees, and then there are products that are available for all customer groups.

Products visible only to specific groups of customers should appear on the same structure of "public" categories and not in specially created categories. Every customer should "naturally" browse the shop without worrying whether he or she is in the "right" category.

But this it how it works normally on epages 6

With epages 6 there is the possibility to make categories only available for a specific customer group (e.g. corporate customers) and to list the products for this customer group there.

What are the disadvantages here?

• Categories must be created twice, once the "public" category and then the category for a specific customer group
• Products must be assigned to different categories
• Products that are intended for several customer groups must be assigned several times
• The whole process must be repeated for each additional customer group
